The Sankofa Youth Educational Exchange, Cultural Leadership Initiative is creative, culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate and project-based with a mission to provide Historical African Diaspora youths with experiential hands-on learning and applied knowledge on Africa. Modern African Diaspora Youths will serve as cultural peers  and the  members of New Generation Africans  would service as cultural guides.


Our program is undertaken in partnership with Jah Kente, International, Inc., a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization.  Please use the registration outlet below.


The activities are designed foster and generate awareness through trans-disciplinary learning, critical thinking skills, deliberation, and action that contribute to the success and youth ownership of their own destinies. They would be challenged and encouraged to translate opportunities to result.

 On July 8 at 4:00pm, your physical present or support or other means of support will lay the foundation for a journey of self discovery and self-mastery with  a pioneering exchange in Summer-Fall 2018.

The venue: 
Second Baptist Church of Washington, DC  816 3rd Street NW  Washington, DC 20001. The venue is chosen for its historical significance.
